Internships

The Flint Hills Wellness Coalition is seeking qualified students for internships. The coalition will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis. Weekly time commitments vary but we will be flexible and accommodate your schedule.

Benefits

This is an unpaid internship. Benefits include:

  • Valuable experience working with and within a community to solve real problems and improve public health.
  • Opportunities to develop relationships, community-university partnerships, and collaborative projects between students, faculty, and community partners/stakeholders (part of or independent of degree program).
  • Strong potential for data collection, scholarship, and grant opportunities.

Students who are interested in participating in an internship with the Flint Hills Wellness Coalition should complete the application (link to application) and submit it to the Flint Hills Wellness Coalition. Applications should be submitted electronically to info@FlintHillsWellness.org

In addition to the application, please include the following items:

  • Resume/CV
  • Description of project/internship goals (500 words or less)

All internship requests will be processed based on completeness of application, resume/CV and description. A response will be garnered as time permits, but within a two (2) week time frame after submission of appropriate documentation.

Compensation

Please note, the Flint Hills Wellness Coalition is unable to provide compensation for internships, unless otherwise specified
